DIET AND ROUTINE

Generally, we have found that this diet and routine has worked with many bunnies.It would be ideal that pawrents can slowly over the course of a few weeks transition the diet to this or similar diet in order to avoid food refusal or health issues due to a sudden lifestyle change shock. Additional / Alternative care notes are always welcome with the intake form or while booking the boarding dates.ALL DAY

Deep Sleep- Zero sugary treats is ideal since oaten hay already contains enough sugar. However, we understand that resisting the adorable bunny requests can be difficult/impossible. If necessary, we can offer tiny quantities of sugar-rich, low-fiber, energy-dense foods like a tiny carrot stick, blueberries, or a tiny banana.- High quantities of treat and dependence on energy dense diet seems to be one of the reasons why many bunnies don't like eating fibre-rich hay.- Bunnies love munching all the time and it is a good sign that they get excited for fresh hay. Too much energy dense foods reduces the necessity to munch as they get full quickly. Bunnies (even older ones) that love eating hay also usually seem to be more energetic, have less dental and gut issues, have less bad poop / excess cecotropes and are happier over the long term as per our experience._{Some information from a good resource

Intake Form & Service Agreement 2023

Very Cute Bunhouse (VCB) is a short term, free roam, rabbit only boarding service located at St.Peters, NSW.We accept responsibility for the following:
- Providing the rabbit with, unlimited fresh oaten hay, Oxbow pellets portioned by weight, clean water, greens & herbs, clean environment, clean beds, small area to run around, correct temperature, small house and clean toys.
- Spending some time with them and giving them company, pats and affection.
- Providing regular updates
- Providing true and accurate information on health and well-being
- We have a lot of experience yet we are always learning, so suggestions and ideas for improvement are welcome in a gentle way.

**What after filling and submitting this form ? **
If the form is filled correctly and all the required documents are provided, an invoice will be issued.
The security deposit/boarding fees will need to be paid on time (before the due dates), inorder to reserve and confirm the booking.

Boarding
Boarding is indoors with lots of fresh air / airconditioning and sunlight 🌞. Freeroam for well behaved buns and an enclosed pen for the naughty ones 👹. Includes a photo update sent regularly. 📸

On 1st Jan 2021, we started Very Cute Bunhouse because we wanted to spend our time doing what we enjoy. We offer free roam rabbit only boarding service because we love bunnies in an open and enriched environment! We also provide regular updates to pawrents. They have been a perfect companion for us over a decade and we love watching them all the time.We provide a home environment for the rabbits where they get to run around and play in an open space or in a large pen in a stress free environment, eating all you can eat hay-buffet and some of your favourite herbs and treats.Visit our Instagram for the latest updates:

Frequently Asked Questions

Where will my bunny be staying?Your bunny will be staying indoor in our apartment complex all the time. The bunny will have their own room. We have a playpen in the room, but we encourage free roaming provided the bunny has some house training. House is well lit and temperature controlled so bunny will be comfortable at all times. At nights, when the bunny is unsupervised, the bunny may be in a playpen if we deem it to be better for the bunny.The setup changes every time depending on the rabbit's preferences and behaviours.

What will my bunny eat?Please check our diet and routine page. If there are specific dietary requirements then please let us know through the intake form.

Can I get updates on my bunny while I'm on my holiday?You will be provided an update regularly with photos. Please let us know if you prefer to have other arrangements.

Why do I have to pay $100 security deposit? When would it be returned ?The deposit is just to cover any emergency vet trips, late pick-ups and to dissuade bunny abandonment etc. The deposit will be paid back in full if we are not required to do something extra during an unexpected event and everything is in accordance with the Service Agreement. The refund (electronic bank transfer) will be processed within 24hours of bunny's pick-up.

When will my booking be confirmed ?The bookings are confirmed only after the calicivirus vaccination status as been confirmed and security deposit payment has been credited into our bank account.Bookings must be confirmed at least 14 days before the boarding date.We have this policy in order to prepare the space for the bunny, plan our own schedules and avoid last minute cancellations.

Booking Confirmation Process

For all new bookings, please contact us through this contact form as it helps us streamline the communication and the booking process.

STEP 1
Contact Us via the form below. Please feel free to ask questions if you have any.
STEP 2
We will respond to your query and then invite you to the intake form and a service agreement
STEP 3
After reading the terms of service, you send the service agreement signed and provide us Calicivirus vaccination status/proof.
STEP 4
We will issue you an invoice with the amount and the bank details for making the payment.
STEP 5
You pay the security deposit for booking the dates + Full boarding fees at least 7 days before the boarding check in date.
STEP 6
Once the vaccination status of the bunny has been confirmed and the payment has been credited, we confirm the receipt for the payment and confirm the booking
STEP 7
After the boarding checkout, if there are no additional issues/charges during the boarding period, we refund the security deposit in full to the bank account provided in the intake form.
